                     The WSBK came to the Chang International at Buriram for the Pirelli Thailand round 2 of the FIM SBK ,with the track temperature approaching 50’c ,the air temp at 35’c ,heat stress was going to be a telling factor in the 20 laps for the 19 riders .New rider to the SBK Alvaro Bautista on his V4 Ducati was lining up with 3 out of 3 wins from the Australian round at Phillip Island,while 2018 World champ Jonathan Rea rode his Kawasaki to 3 second places in the racing in Australia where Bautsta rode on to take the flag in race 1 by a massive 14.983 secs ,then in race 2 rode on to take the flag by another 12.195 secs from the world champion Jonathan Rea.I’m sure that Kawasaki and Yamaha went away from the Australia round thinking how they were going to get back that larger margins.The support classes for the event are the IDEMITSU Asia Talent Cup which is making its sixth season return under the giudance of Alberto Puig and is very popular with all the upcoming riders as they get a chance to all race on the same brand of bikes ,the Honda NSF250R Moto 3. This series provides the riders with the experience of riding at 6 different tracks ,also providing a stepping stone to compete in other series in Europe.The PTT BRIC Superbike series is also the other support class.
