Weld West State Road Racing Championship Rnd 4.

        The day Started with will it rain or won't it , the day cleared up and the sun started to shine  and the 19 race event got under way .First up were the Cully's Yamaha  Clubman 600 with 22 riders competing ,the lights went out and it was Triumph rider Mark Crittenden who got away well and came out of turn one  at the head of the pack being pursued by Suzuki riders Ben Shingler and Scott McCue ,but after the 6 laps it was the Triumph of Mark Crittenden that took the flag with Ben Shingler taking the second spot and BPR rider Scott McCue coming in third .In the second race of the club 600 it was Mark Crittenden who got the Triumph wound up and was the first bike out of turn one and just pointed it towards the flag  with Suzuki riders Ben Shingler, Scott McCue  and Yamaha rider Rob Connaughton who were scrapping over the second and third spots but after the 6 laps it was BPR rider Scott McCue that got the second spot with Ben Shingler edging out Rob Connaughton to take third .Race 3 the riders lined up and it was again the Daytona of Mark Crittenden who powered off into the sunset and who rode on to take the flag ,with Ben Shingler riding well to beat BPR rider Scott McCue taking second place with McCue getting third.


        In the Helmet House Production 300 series there were 22 riders entered, The first race cot underway and it was the JB Kawasaki of Tim Boujos that got the drop on the field and headed off into the distance with SP rider Michelle Marais and Victorian John Quinn heading the pack in pursuit, but after the 5 laps it was Tim Boujos that crossed the line to take the flag, with Michelle Marais claiming second and John Quinn getting third. The second race lined up and it was again JB rider Tim Boujos who got the drop on the field, with Brandsense rider Michael King and SP racing rider Michelle Marais doing battle for the second spot but after the 5 laps it was again JB racing rider Tim Boujos who claimed the top spot on the podium with Michael King edging out Michelle Marais who came in third.


 Next class out on the grid were the Fastline Racing 125 GP bikes with 14 bikes entered for the 7 lap event. The lights went out and it was  Fastline racing Honda rider  David Doughty  ,Honda rider Dave Noblett ,and RC Honda rider Sam Clarke that headed off into turn 1 and it was David Doughty who wound up the Honda to power on to take the flag from Dave Noblett who collected second  spot with Sam Clarke getting third .In the second race it was again David Doughty who rode the wheels off the  Honda who went on to take the flag by over 6.5 secs ,coming in second was Dave Noblett with Fastline GP Racing Honda rider David Manson getting third. Race 3 lined up and it was again the three David's that raced into turn 1 and it was again Honda rider David Doughty who rode on to take his third chequered flag for the meeting with Dave Noblett picking up second place and his third podium for the event, coming in third was David Mason.

 

 The premium event was up next with the Weld West WA Superbike State Championship, the spectators wondering will Cameron Stronach seal the deal and take out the WA Superbike title for the 2015 season or will Ben Stronach stay in the hunt for the title. They lined up for race 1 and it was the Stronach Fro that got away to a great start ,but coming out of turn 1 was Holdfast BMW rider Cameron Stronach being hotly pursued by Northwest Timber flooring  Kawasaki rider Ben Stronach and HTR Kawasaki rider Adam Chambers ,after  7 laps it was the Cameron Stronach who stood on the top podium with Ben Stronach claiming second ,Adam Chambers coming in to take third spot .Race 2 lined up and the pressure was on ,the lights went out and it was again Cameron Stronach, Ben Stronach ,HTR Kawasaki rider Adam Chambers , McB sports  BMW rider Anthony MacFadden and Boreclean Suzuki Rider Adam Senior  fighting it out to come out of turn 1 ahead ,Cameron riding the BMW just came out ahead being hotly pursued by the group of riders ,after the 8 laps it was Anthony McFadden who rode well to overtake Cameron Stronach and went on to take the flag with Cameron Stronach getting second and Suzuki rider Adam Senior taking third spot on the podium .The third race of the Superbikes came out and lined up on the grid ,and again it was a fight to get into turn one with Cameron Stronach coming out ahead of BMW rider Anthony McFadden ,Suzuki rider Adam Senior and Kawasaki rider Ben Stronach ,but after the 8 laps it was Cameron Stronach who rode to take the chequered flag and the  WA State Superbike championship ,coming in second was Anthony McFadden with Adam Senior claiming third spot.


    The next class up were the Hughes WA Super Sport with 30 riders entered in the event, They lined up on the grid and it was SP racing Kawasaki rider Thyron VanVuuren, Kawasaki rider Livo Zampieri and Kawasaki  RC Racing rider Sam Clarke took off down the straight and it was Thyron VanVuuren who came out in front of Zampieri and Clarke, but lead swapping a few times VanVuuren came out in front of Zampieri who claimed place on the podium with Sam Clarke getting third place. Race 2 came along and it was RC racing Sam Clarke and SP racing Thyron Van Vuuren  and Livo Zampieri who were battling it out up the front ,but after 8 laps of Lead swapping it was Sam Clarke who rode well to claim the top spot on the podium with Thyron VavVuuren getting second and Livo Zampieri  claiming third. The last race came along and it was Livo Zampieri who went into turn 1 being hotly pursued by SP racing rider Thyron VanVuuren  but after the 8 laps it Thyron VanVuuren  who rode on to take the chequered flag with Livo Zampieri claiming second place ,RC racing Sam Clarke getting third spot .


 The Chain Reaction Clubman 1000 were the next group out on the grid, the lights went out and Jackson Roofing rider Sam Kelham who was riding his Kawasaki got away to a great start and came out of turn 1 ahead of Yamaha rider Noel Moore being pursued by Brian Dick on a Honda, after the 6 laps it was the Kawasaki of Sam Kelham that went on to take the flag from Noel Moore, leaving third place for Brian Dick. Race 2 lined up and it was Jackson Roofing Sam Kelham and Brian Dick who did battle for the 6 laps, but in the end it was Sam Kelham who got the top spot on the podium with Brian Dick picking up second, and Noel Moore coming In third. The third race lined up and it was Brian Dick and Jackson Roofing Sam Kelham who were dueling for the lead but after the 6 laps it was Brian Dick who claimed the top podium with Sam Kelham settling for second place, rounding out the podium was Noel Moore claiming third.


 The next class out were the Sidecars, they lined up and it was again the combo of RHR racing Jero Joyce/Corey Blackman who got away to a great start and heading out of the first turn and not looking back went on to take the chequered flag ,with  the combo of Murray Stronach/Joanne Thomson left to fight it out for second place with the rig of Rick Hanger racing Graeme Evans/Eamon Mulholland  ,the combo of Stronach/Thompson claiming second place with Evans /Mulholland getting third place.

Race 2 lined up on the grid and it was the combo again of Jero Joyce /Corey Blackman who rode the wheels of their machine to go on and take the chequered flag with Graeme Evans/Eamon Mulholland claiming second spot on the podium, coming in third was the combo of Stronach /Thompson .
