         When the flag drops for the first race of the 2019 World SBK season the Australian Phillip Island circuit will have run 56 World SBK races since 1990, the most of any other Circuit,it has hosted the last 13 season opening rounds .

2018 World champion Jonathan Rea starts his 2019 championship attack having lead the championship 100 times while Tom Sykes will have started his 260 race in the WSBK , the fastest top speed was by Max Biaggi who hit 342.6kmh onboard his Aprilia in 2012.Australian riders have won 23 times out of the 55 races raced,Troy Bayliss last won a double in 2008.This year will see a new race format which should prove to be entertaining,fans will be riding / driving from all over our great country to come and cheer on their hero's .Aussie,Aussie,Aussie
