Race 2

Before 26,443 spectators the 21 riders lined up on the grid for race 2 of the FIM SBK Pirelli round here at the Chang International circiut in Buriram Thailand .Ducati rider Alvaro Bautista is on pole with Kawasaki rider Jonathan Rea on #2 and completing the front row is Alex Lowes .

When the flag dropped it was Alvaro Bautista that took the lead coming out of T1but was being hotly pursued by Kawasaki rider Jonathan Rea ,Pata Yamaha riders Alex Lowes ,Michael Van der Mark.During the next 20 laps Alvaro Bautista rode the wheels off his Ducati and slowly increased his lead over the rest of the field.During the 20 laps the riding positions didn’t change between the top 6 riders as they were all going flat out trying to keep up with Alvaro Bautista who showed no quarter and lead for the 20 laps from start to finish,he finished 10.053 secs ahead of Jonathan Rea in second place .This now makes it 6 wins from 6 starts for the Spaniard and for Ducati who now leads the Manufacturer’s championship and Alvaro Bautista who heads up the riders championship.The Motorcard Round 3 is next event in Aragon , Spain on the 5-7 April.
