Tissot Superpole Race.
The 19 riders lined up on the grid for theFIM SBK Tissot Superpole race at Chang International circiut at Buriram , the track temperature at 56’c ,as the lights went out and the riders rode off into the first turn and it was Alvaro Bautista on the Ducati who came out ahead of the pack ,with Kawasaki Johnny Rea and PATA Yamaha riders Alex Lowes with Michael Van der Mark in hot pursiut ,after 6 laps Alvaro Bautista kept pushing the Ducati to keep ahead of the Kawasaki of Rea and the Yamaha’s of Lowes and Van der Mark ,his lead now was just over 2 secs when there was an ontrack incident and the race was red flagged .Alvaro Bautista claimed victory to be ahead of Rea by 2.042 sec’s after the 6 lapswith Alex Lowes getting the remaining Podium
Race 1
In front of the 21,455 sprctators the 21 riders lined up on the grid for the start of race 1,Alvaro Bautista took pole position after winning the Tissot Super pole race earlier in the day.When the lights went out and the riders headed into turn 1 it was Kawasaki rider Jonathan Rea that came out in front of the Ducati rider Alvaro Bautista ,with PATA Yamaha riders Alex Lowes , Michael Van der Mark in hot pursiut ,the riders continued to challenge each other but the group didn’t change with Jonathan Rea still in front by just under a second from Bautista ,but as the laps went down it was Alvaro Bautista who was hanging off the back wheel of Rea took the lead in the 8th lap.As the race counted down the group of the top 6 riders remained the same except that Bautista slowly put the hammer down and left the pack fighting for the remaining 2 podiums ,after the 20 laps it was Ducati Rider Alvaro Bautista who claimed the top step of the podium by winning by 8.217 secs from Kawasaki rider Jonathan Rea who was just under 6 secs ahead of 3rd placed rider Alex Lowes .Seventeen riders finished the 20 laps with only 2 retirements.Again Alvaro Bautista rode the wheels off his Ducati to win by such a large margin.
