Well the weather at Phillip Island for this year's 2015 FIM SBK Rnd 1 was all you could've wished for with clear skies and Sunshine and smiles all around .After a great start Northern Ireland's Jonathan Rea rode his Kawasaki to lead the race from start to finish, Leon Haslam who rode the wheels off his Aprilla came in second with fellow Brit Chaz Davies riding his Ducati onto third spot on the podium .For Australia's Troy Bayliss it has been 7 years since he raced in the SBK at Phillip Island where he finished a creditable 13 th, fellow Aussie Jed Metcher finished in 14 th place.

4. J.Torres - Aprilla                          5. VDMark - Honda.                 6. T Sykes - Kawasaki 

7.    S,Guintoli - Honda.                      8. N.Terol - Ducati.                   9.A Lowes - Suzuki

In Race 2 it was again Jonathan Rea on the Kawasaki that had another great start but Leon Haslam riding the Aprilla gave chase and in the last lap overtook his ex team mate to take the flag ,Jonathan Rea collected second place with Brit Chaz Davies taking third spot on the podium .Aussie Troy Bayliss finished in 18 th spot  with Jed Metcher  recording a DNF.

The World Supersport Championship race went to  Frenchman Jules Cluzel who got away to a great start but was pursued by Lorenzo Zanetti who claimed a close second place ,coming in to collect the third spot on the podium was Gino Rea .Australia was represented with A Wagner who came in 13 th place ,G Scott getting 14 th and son of Robbie Phillis  A Phillis picking up 17 th position.
